RILEY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Wednesday in Manhattan.
A 2005 Toyota Sienna driven by Annalese Zawodny-Benlon, 47, of Shawnee, Kansas, collided with a 2013 Ford F150 driven by Luke Farrell, 16, of Manhattan at the corner of S. 5th Street and Pierre Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report
Both Farrell and a passenger in Sienna were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Zawodny-Benlon was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, according to the RCPD.
