A K-State junior majoring in chemistry has won the Barry M.Goldwater scholarship. Angela Grommet of Wichita is the 68th Goldwater scholar in Kansas State history. Another K-State student Sterling Braun of Fort Scott was given honorable mention in the scholarship competition. He is studying premedicine and microbiology.
